This project was realized after being tasked with analyzing the sustainability efforts by the brand Uniqlo, as well as proposing a short and long term plan to further strengthen the brand's sustainability efforts. throughout this project, I was to identify and thoroughly research the brand, understanding its sustainability efforts in sectors like design, production, labor, materials, and distribution, as well as move the brand forward in line with its  brand identity. in addition to this, i was to analyze a single garment from the brands sustainable offerings and record insights in the aforementioned sectors. this project aided my understanding of brand identity and the varying research which aids in the understanding of brand identity to further strengthen a brand. what more, it deepened my understanding of sustainability action within the full life cycle of a garment, from design to end-of-life.
