In this team-based project, our 4 person group explored Nordstrom’s brand identity and retail environment to propose a curated boutique concept. Throughout this process, field and brand research was conducted before developing a comprehensive proposal that included product design, merchandising strategy, marketing initiatives, and financial planning. The project highlighted the intersection of analytical thinking and creative ideation, providing a holistic understanding of the end-to-end retail development process. This project strengthened my strategic merchandising and analytical planning skills and exposed me to the complexities of retail assortment and boutique concept development.
