As part of the senior capstone course, Concept to Consumer, our 9 person team developed a three-look bridal collection for New York–based brand Loulette Bride. The collection features seven interchangeable garments designed to create multiple bridal styling combinations. My primary contribution was the ultra gathered Pant, an extra-wide-leg bridal trouser featuring a pointed yoke, gathers, invisible inseam zipper pockets, and full lining. In addition to design and custom pattern development based on body measurements, I conducted consumer and brand research, prepared Bills of Materials and cost sheets, and contributed to styling. This project exemplifies an end-to-end product development process from ideation to final production.
During this process, I had the opportunity to strengthen my end-to-end product development capabilities, taught me the intricacies of bridal design and patterning, and exposed me to the operational and strategic considerations of the bridal fashion market.
