Developed for the Approaches and Processes in Fashion course, this project focused on creating a fully adaptive garment in collaboration with singer-songwriter and artist Jessica Jordan Ping, who has Child Syndrome. Working within a team of five, we designed, patterned, and produced the final garment with an emphasis on accessibility, comfort, and personal expression. My responsibilities included leading the design concept, producing detailed CADs, developing the patterns, and constructing both muslin prototypes and the final piece. This experience deepened my commitment to inclusive design and user-centered innovation. This project strengthened my adaptive design knowledge and exposed me to not only the growing field of adaptive and inclusive fashion but also the precision and thought that goes into this type of design.
